What SpilNote is

SpilNote is an online service at spilnote.com for documents, tasks, databases, team chats, personal notes, publishing pages, and online forms. By using the service, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for everything that happens in your account, so do not share access with others: each colleague signs in with their own account. If you are under 16, use the service with your parents’ consent.

Your content

Everything you create and upload in SpilNote belongs to you. You grant us only the right to store this content and to show it to you and to the people you yourself have given access — the service cannot work without this. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

You are responsible for the content of pages you publish via a link or on your own domain, and for the data you collect through your forms.

What is prohibited

You may not use SpilNote to break the law or violate the rights of others: to distribute malware, phishing, or spam, to publish other people’s personal data without a lawful basis or other people’s works without the author’s permission, or to impersonate other people or companies. You also may not attempt to hack the service, circumvent its limits, or overload it with automated requests.

Free access and limits

Right now, all SpilNote features are free. Each account has limits: 200 MB for files and 5 minutes of voice message transcription. We do not limit text, pages, or tasks. Limits may change. We will notify you of paid plans in advance, and early users will get special terms.

Availability

We do our best to keep SpilNote running reliably, and we back up the database every night. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, so the service is provided “as is.” We recommend exporting important content from time to time: pages to PDF or Markdown, databases to Excel.

Restricting access

If an account violates these terms or threatens the security of the service or other people, we may restrict or terminate access to it. When the situation is unclear, we will contact you first.

Deleting your account

You can delete pages and files at any time within the service. To delete your account entirely, email us — we will delete it along with all its content within 30 days.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits related to your use of the service or to interruptions in its operation.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes in the service in advance. If you continue to use SpilNote after that, the new terms apply to you as well.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine.
